Rhamondre Stevenson is ready to play in Super Bowl LX.

Stevenson was present at Super Bowl week on Wednesday. The five-year veteran running back got the chance to address the New England Patriots’ offensive backfield dynamic before the media. The Patriots’ reliable backfield runs on his, as well as running back TreVeyon Henderson’s consistency. Stevenson has taken the reins as the featured back in the playoffs, a role that was not defined in the regular season.

According to Blitz Sports Media’s Ryan Linkletter, Stevenson addressed the toll, or lack thereof, that his increased workload has taken on him with just days to go before Super Bowl Sunday.

“Yeah, I’m feeling good. You know, before TreVeyon got here I was taking as many snaps as I was now. So, yeah I’m good. I’m feeling healthy, ready to go, and looking forward to Sunday,” Stevenson said.

Stevenson leads the Patriots with 51 carries in the playoffs. New England has given Henderson the ball 24 times. Stevenson earned 130 carries in the regular season, 50 less than Henderson’s 180.

More touches have not led to attrition for Stevenson. He was not listed on the Patriots’ Super Bowl bye week injury report. His status for the Super Bowl is not in jeopardy due to his health.
