Somfai, who was one rebound shy of the Stanford record set by Chiney Ogwumike in 2013 and matched by Cameron Brink in 2024, also had eight assists, three blocks and two steals.
The Cardinal (16-8, 5-6 ACC), who had committed at least 10 turnovers in 12 consecutive games, limited their giveaways to five against the Panthers (8-16, 1-10) and set a season high with 12 3-pointers.
Stanford led by eight at halftime and by 10 entering the fourth quarter before putting the game out of reach with a 27-point period to improve to 4-0 all time against the Panthers. Ogden had 12 points in the fourth.
Stanford, which again was without injured starters Nunu Agara and Talana Lepolo, won the rebound battle 37-31 and had 21 assists on its 36 baskets.
Theresa Hagans scored 21 points for Pittsburgh.
Cal 63, Georgia Tech 56: Gisella Maul had 17 points and 13 rebounds, Sakima Walker provided 15 points and 10 rebounds and Mjracle Sheppard scored 13 points to go with four steals as the Bears (14-10, 5-6 ACC) downed the host Yellow Jackets (10-14, 5-7) for their fourth win in their past five games.
"She's been a rock for us and instrumental in our wins and what she's doing for our team," Cal coach Charmin Smith said of Maul. "I'm really happy for her, to see her out there, contributing and having an impact, the way that she has with her third double-double now. She's really helping our team and I know her teammates are happy for her as well."
Cal, coming off a loss to No. 6 Louisville, led by six entering the fourth quarter and then held off the Yellow Jackets after they closed to within 48-46 with 6:19 remaining.
The Bears, 2-0 lifetime against Georgia Tech after beating the Yellow Jackets in Berkeley last season, won the rebound battle 41-31.
USF 76, Seattle 67: Candy Edokpaigbe's 24 points led four Dons in double figures as USF (14-9, 7-5 WCC) defeated the host Redhawks (5-18, 1-11).
The Dons used a 27-8 burst in the second quarter to forge a 45-25 halftime lead, then survived a 29-18 third-quarter run by Seattle. The Redhawks, down by nine entering the fourth, got to within six in the final period before the Dons shut down their comeback.
Noelia Mourino scored 13 points and Mara Neira and Meghan McIntyre added 12 apiece for USF. Ella Brubaker had 21 points for Seattle.
Pacific 90, Santa Clara 82: Sydney Ward's 27 points led five Tigers in double figures as Pacific (9-13, 4-7 WCC) held off the Broncos (18-7, 8-4) in Stockton.
Santa Clara, which was paced by Maia Jones' 24 points, hit 32 free throws but was 4-for-27 from 3-point range.
Ava Schmidt had 19 points and Ashley Hawkins 18 for the Broncos.
Loyola Marymount 75, St. Mary's 69: Abigail Shoff scored 18 points and Charlece Ohiaeri added 11 for the host Gaels (13-11, 4-7 WCC), but their efforts were not enough for St. Mary's to upend the Lions (15-8, 9-3).
St. Mary's trailed by 15 entering the fourth quarter but closed to 67-62 with 58 seconds left. However, Loyola Marymount prevented the Gaels from getting any closer.
