In connection with the case, Hillsborough County Sheriffs arrested three men for an alleged robbery at an apartment in Tampa, Florida, on Feb. 4: Boakai Hilton Jr., Lyndell Hudson and Christion Williams. Hilton, 23, has been charged with three felony counts of kidnapping and three felony counts of robbery with a firearm with a deadly weapon, which could carry a life sentence.

Hilton has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Prosecutors allege that Hilton orchestrated the robbery of three men on behalf of Arnold, whose rental unit in Largo, Florida, was allegedly robbed twice before the alleged robbery in Tampa. Prosecutors say that though the original robberies were reported to authorities, Arnold and others "decided to take matters into their own hands."

Arnold's agents did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

Here's what we know so far.

Terrion Arnold's Florida rental allegedly robbed, kickstarting events

According to a court filing, Arnold's AirBNB rental unit in Largo was robbed of "designer bags, $100,000 in cash, an $80,000 necklace, and a cell phone issued to Arnold by the NFL" some time before the Tampa robbery. Prosecutors say that the robbery was reported to authorities and that Arnold suspected that his driver, Yan Lopez, was involved with the robbery.

Arnold is originally from Tallahassee, Florida – about a four-hour drive north of Largo.

Prosecutors say that Jasmine Randazzo, a friend of Arnold's girlfriend Arianna Del Valle, "lured" Daniel Tenesaca (a friend of Lopez's) and his friend Soljah Anderson into her Tampa apartment, where Hudson and Williams were hiding and armed with a rifle and a handgun. Randazzo was arrested on Feb. 6 in connection with the event, as first reported by WTVT-TV in Tampa.

The filing alleges Del Valle instructed Randazzo to bring Tenesaca to the apartment. That's when prosecutors say the second alleged robbery took place.

Prosecutors say Terrion Arnold connected to men who orchestrated the robbery

Prosecutors allege that Hudson and Williams "took Tenesaca and Anderson hostage in the bedroom, interrogating, beating, and pistol whipping them for the better part of an hour" after Tenesaca and Anderson entered the apartment. Lopez, who prosecutors say was waiting outside the apartment while Hudson and Williams were beating Tenesaca and Anderson, eventually entered the apartment and was confronted by a third associate, Freddie Hughes.

"There, one of the co-defendants stuck the barrel of his firearm into Lopez’s mouth, demanding he return the stolen property and Arnold’s phone," the file reads. "Before the victims left, the co-defendants took their phones and wallets."

Hudson and Williams were each charged with seven felony counts – three counts of robbery with a firearm, three counts of kidnapping and one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Prosecutors allege that Hilton orchestrated the robbery via a group text while riding in a car from Tallahassee with Arnold, saying that Hilton asked Del Valle to capture the event on FaceTime. Arnold is not alleged to have been at the scene during the event, though prosecutors say Hilton eventually arrived at the apartment.

Judge J. Logan Murphy granted the state's request to keep Hilton in pretrial detention. The state has also requested that Hudson and Williams be kept in pretrial detention.

Arnold, a first-round pick of the Lions in 2024, just completed his second year at cornerback with Detroit in 2025, missing nine games due to injury. He was expected to play a key role in the Lions secondary in 2026.

The Lions did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
