The Dallas Cowboys have already filled their offensive question marks this offseason.
George Pickens has his franchise tag, and Javonte Williams has a contract extension. The offense isn't the problem.
They've got to figure out their defense, though. That'll be the key to the Cowboys having a better 2026 season.
They've certainly got a whole bunch of targets lined up, and new insight from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler has shone a light on a few of the possibilities.
"The Cowboys are crafting a detailed free agency plan to bolster their defense," Fowler writes. "The new scheme under coordinator Christian Parker needs replenishment. Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean is someone to watch as a green-dot player in the middle of the defense."

Dean could give Dallas a leader in an area that the Cowboys very much need one.
That won't be all. They need pass rush and secondary help, too. Really, everything could be a positive addition.
"The Cowboys will monitor the top of the pass-rush free agent options, too," Fowler writes. "They aren't guaranteed to spend big, but I believe they will get a pass rusher at some point. They will also comb the free agent safety class (Arizona's Jalen Thompson makes sense), and they need a nickel corner. Dallas has felt the void since Jourdan Lewis left."
Cowboys fans surely are tired of their defense not keeping pace with their offense. The Micah Parsons trade may not have helped, but they do have cap space to work with now.
Dallas has to get these defensive moves right.
