Mansfield must take cup form into league - Russell

Mansfield Town loan signing Jon Russell says the Stags need to find a way to reproduce their FA Cup form in the league to secure their third-tier status.
Jamaica international Russell scored his first goals for the club with a double against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday but they were held to a 2-2 draw.

Mansfield have not won in the league since 17 January, a sequence spanning eight games.
But they have reached the fifth round of the FA Cup and will host Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday following a trip to Rotherham United on Tuesday.
"We've done really well in the FA Cup and we need to take the results and performances into our league games," Russell told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"It's the way football is, you can get a team at the bottom of the league do well in cup games, it's just one of those things."
Russell has made 10 appearances since his arrival last month - and featured in both of the Stags' FA Cup upsets, a thrilling 4-3 win at Championship side Sheffield United and a 2-1 victory at top-flight Burnley.
On his own form, he said: "I'm happy with my performances lately but getting the two goals is big for me, I'm a lot more confident to keep (it) going.
"I'll continue to work and be as effective as I can. I'll look to take it into the next game."
Despite the recent run of results, Mansfield are still 16th in League One, four points clear of the bottom four.
Boss Nigel Clough, though, is concerned by a trend of his team making more mistakes than the opposition in games.
"We just can't legislate for the mistakes we're making at the moment," he said.
"At least we're on 40 (points), not too much damage towards the bottom four as well, and we've stopped the run of [three] defeats.
"Rotherham got a fantastic result at Plymouth so it's going to be unbelievably tough there on Tuesday prior to the circus coming to town after that."
