Gym teacher straddled teen boy in his car, cops claim: 'I can't believe I'm doing this!'

“You can’t tell anybody” are the alleged words that torpedo a married female gym teacher’s career and marriage.
Cops say that PE teacher Alisha Crins , 39, has been charged with sex assault in Glocester, Rhode Island, and admitted to kissing and sexting a student. However, Crins denies having sex with the boy.

According to charging documents obtained by WPRI, Crins spotted the teen when he was sophomore in her class at Ponaganset High School. She allegedly began sending the boy flirty messages after she found his phone number online.
Eventually, Crins began sending the boy naked photos and videos, kissing him twice and sexually straddling him in the back of his car, the teen told detectives.
Crins admitted sending the photos and videos and the kissing, but claimed the duo were “never physical.” They did, however, discuss future sexual romps.
‘Asked him for a kiss’
Crins kicked off her alleged grooming by telling the boy he “looked good” and asking to wear his sweatshirt. Crins “proceeded to ask him for a kiss” and gave him her address, jumping in his vehicle when he arrived and parked on a side street, the affidavit said.
“‘I can’t believe I’m going to do this … You can’t tell anybody,” Crins allegedly said before grabbing the teen’s face and kissing him for nearly 15 minutes.
She then allegedly bombarded the boy with texts about his kissing ability and her obsession with his lips. Cops say she then invited him back over weeks later, when she straddled the student in the back seat and engaged in sexual contact with him.
When he was interviewed by police, the boy showed investigators sexy snapshots and videos of Crins in lingerie that she sent him when he was just 17. The teacher also sent him nude photos and videos of herself once he turned 18, she admitted.
Eventually, she allegedly torpedoed the relationship because she told him he was her teacher and was married.
Crins is scheduled to be arraigned on March 18.
Aussie teacher pleads guilty
Meanwhile, former Aussie teacher Tayla Lee Brailey, 32, pleaded guilty to four offences, including one count of sexual intercourse with someone 16 years old under special care, one count of sexual touching, and two counts of using a carriage service to solicit or transmit child abuse material.
The remaining three sexual abuse charges, including sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old under special care, would be withdrawn. According to ABC, Brailey was arrested in August 2024 and charged with four sexual abuse offences relating to a 17-year-old male student.
She was granted conditional bail but arrested two weeks later at her Wollongong home over the sexual abuse of a 16-year-old male student and charged with another seven offences. The court heard on July 25, 2024, Brailey sexually touched the boy, 17, and used a carriage service to transmit child abuse material to herself.
“Guilty, your honour,” Brailey told the court as Magistrate Thompson read the two charges aloud.
The court heard Brailey also had sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old male student at a different school the day before and used a carriage service during that same month to access child abuse material. She will be sentenced March 26.
Alberta teacher sprung early
Closer to home, the Parole Board of Canada has sprung dirty Alberta teacher Catherine Valiquette — barely 16 months into her four-year sentence. Valiquette was granted full parole on Feb. 27 — five months after release on day parole.
Valiquette was a Grade 9 teacher at Graminia School in Parkland County when she began a sexual relationship with a then 15-year-old student in April 2022 that lasted for several months. She pleaded guilty to sexual assault and sexual contact with a minor and was sentenced to four years in prison in October 2024.
Among her release conditions are that she is to have no contact with boys under the age of 16, with the exception of her own children. The Parole Board considers her a low-risk to reoffend. Valiquette told the board she was the victim of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse as a child, causing her to leave home at 14.
It also shows she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
