There’s just one at-large selection from the mid-majors. Shoutout to the two-bid Atlantic 10 for a second straight year.
Region 1 — Fort Worth

Murray State: Behind a program-record 31 wins, the Racers are dancing for a second straight year. They’re a 12-seed and open against Maryland.

Fairfield: The Stags are dancing for a third straight year and claimed an 11-seed, their highest since being a 10 in 1988. Carly Thibault-DuDonis’ team will look to continue its hot shooting (11 3’s a game) against Notre Dame in the first round.

Princeton: The Tigers are the first Ivy League school to make five straight NCAA Tournaments. Princeton opens against Oklahoma State.
Green Bay: The Phoenix is a 13-seed as it makes its third straight Big Dance. It’s a matchup of former South Dakota head coaches as Kayla Karius leads GB against Minnesota and Dawn Plitzuweit, who led the Coyotes to the 2022 Sweet 16.
Charleston: The Cougars are making their first trip to the NCAA Tournament. They’re a 14-seed and will travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium for a matchup with Duke.

Missouri State/Stephen F. Austin: The Bears were a six-seed in the CUSA tournament and went on a run and will now meet SFA in its home state for a shot at top-seed Texas.
