Ole Miss wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling has pre-draft visits set up with both the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears, according to college football analyst Ryan Fowler.

If you're a fan of watching dudes run around in underwear, you would know why...

Stribling was one of the biggest winners to come out of the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, where he ran the seventh fastest 40-yard dash (4.36) and broad jump (10' 7") among wide receivers at 6-foot-2, 207 pounds -- making him the second heaviest player to reach those numbers (Cincinnati's Jeff Caldwell).

Stribling has made decent contributions across his stints at Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Washington State, finishing with seasons of at least 50 receptions, 600 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns at each school -- averaging 13.7 yards per reception and finishing with 216 receptions, 2,964 receiving yards and 23 receiving touchdowns from 2021-2025.

The Patriots must still be looking to add speed, though reading that sentence without looking at this story's publication date would probably make it rather difficult to figure out which offseason we're talking about -- 2021? 2022? 2023? 2024? 2025?

New England's desire to add another gear remains unchanged in 2026, though they have made strides in that department by adding some impressive 40-yard dash times with their selections of Christian Gonzalez (4.38), Kyle Williams (4.40), TreVeyon Henderson (4.43), and DeMario Douglas (4.44). If they hope to continue putting the right pieces around quarterback Drake Maye, they would be wise to continue adding speed and size.
