Alim McNeill should round back into form for 2026, but fortifying the defensive trenches is never a bad idea. The Lions had a Top-30 visit with Tyre West which demonstrates strong interest. He appears to be medically low-risk.

West has shown good reliability in his career, missing just two games in his final two seasons. His age is uncertain, but might be a tick higher than ideal. Overall, he carries minimal concerns for a later-round pick.
