In a little over two weeks, the FC Barcelona presidential elections are set to take place, with Joan Laporta hoping to return for another tenure.
He faces competition from other pre-candidates like Victor Font, Marc Ciria, and Xavi Vilajoana, although the former president has the support of the Barça dressing room as well as the sporting department.

Flick has already signed Laporta’s candidacy support
Earlier, it was reported how sporting director Deco and football co-ordinator Bojan Krkic Jr. were set to sign their support for Laporta’s candidacy later today.
Now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has already signed, as a club member, in support of the pre-candidacy of Laporta in the upcoming.

The German coach gave his signature discreetly a few days ago at the Ciutat Esportiva, just as several first-team players have done.
As an indication of his support for the former president, Flick, along with Deco and Bojan, was already present at the presentation of Laporta’s book ‘Així Hem Salvat el Barça’ on Monday.
In recent days, multiple Barcelona players have hinted at their backing for Laporta in interviews. The likes of Dani Olmo and Gerard Martin have spoken out in his support.
On the women’s side, Aitana Bonmatí has also publicly expressed her support.
Signed endorsement ballots have been collected at the Ciutat Esportiva, reflecting what appears to be strong backing for Laporta among members within both dressing rooms.
