Ja'Kobi Lane is slotted as Josh Allen's next big-body target

Ja'Kobi Lane is still a prospect who is getting overlooked in many mock NFL drafts, but that does not mean he will not find his perfect destination and be an impact player in his rookie season. Even if he falls in the 2026 NFL draft, a contending team will be very happy to get him.

In a recent fourth-round mock draft, analyst Chad Reuter has underrated Trojan receiver Ja'Kobi Lane heading to the Buffalo Bills in the 4th round at pick 109.

Ja'Kobi Lane is coming off a great Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine performance, and there are no players in this draft class that can outdo the highlight reel plays he posted this past season. Lane put up 745 yards receiving, 4 touchdowns, and had 3 100-yard receiving performances in 11 games. Those numbers all come with him playing the next two last season's Biletnikoff award winner, Makai Lemon. There were some games in which Lane looked like the best receiver. '

The Bills bolstered their underperforming receiver room by trading for playmaker D.J. Moore, who immediately improves that room. Adding Lane next to Moore, however, will help Josh Allen have the best supporting cast he has ever had in his career. That would be scary for the rest of the league, and it would be exactly what Josh Allen will need to finally get over the hump.
