Is this leaked Falcons jersey the actual redesign?

During the 2020 offseason, which feels like just yesterday, the Falcons were on the verge of announcing their first major uniform change since they wore they switched from the 90’s black/silver look to the 2000’s look that they would wear for nearly two decades.

A few days prior to the official release date, the uniforms were leaks as it appears someone at a photoshoot accidentally or intentionally ruined the official release. So the Falcons released them early.

Flash forwarded to this 2026 offseason, Falcons fans are awaiting the official release of the new uniforms, slated for an April 2nd release. Per tradition though, it appears fans at least have a glimpse into what’s planned, as the Falcons’ new primary jerseys have leaked online (see below.)

We have to note that it’s entirely possible that these are fake until we get the official release from the team. Saying that, I’ve seen and heard a lot about what the uniforms will look like over the last few months and these line up practically identical to claims.

Overall, I like the design, mainly because they’re a huge upgrade over what the team has been wearing the last few years. Are they perfect? Nope. Are they an upgrade? Yep. These jerseys are essentially a mix of a simple look with a modern design, mainly noted by the number font. Since this is the only look currently at the leaked uniforms, it’s expected that the team will have a black version of this, and the away jerseys will have red numbers, after having black numbers in the last uniform set.

In regards to the helmet, it’s expected that they will be black and have black facemasks, returning that random silver facemark that they had previously. Although pants are a question mark, I expect that we will see a primary white design, likely with classic stripes down the leg. With also black and possibly grey as an alternate.

Although the team is sadly not committing to the 1966 throwback design full time, they are still expected to be an alternate in the team’s uniform rotation.

Again, we will have to wait for the official release tomorrow, but assuming these are legit, what are your thoughts on the team’s possible new look?
